    Antworten: No, Woolite products don't have optical brighteners in them.

    Antworten: I have never used it on silk, but I use it on almost everything else. If you can wash it in cold water, I would assume you could use it on silk on the gentle cycle. Hope this helps.
  • Frage: What makes this 'he' ok while original Woolite is not? If I watered down my original Woolite would it be safe for my 'he' machine?

    Antworten: Because HE (High Efficiency) machines require a low-sudsing detergent, it is recommended that a HE detergent is used in these machines. Excess foam can prevent proper tumbling action and therefore reduce cleaning. Woolite brand detergents are safe for use in High Efficiency (HE) washing machines when they bear an HE symbol on the product label. We do not recommend using a diluted regular detergent in a HE machine. Before laundering any garment, in addition to following the instructions on our product's label, we recommend that you carefully read and follow the manufacturers' instructions on the care label sewn inside the garment and always follow the directions for use in the owner's manual for the washing machine.
  • Frage: Is there any Woolite fabric softener?

    Antworten: Woolite brand detergents won't cause shrinking, stretching, or fading and can safely be used for laundering when a care label indicates the garment can be hand or machine washed using a mild detergent. Currently, we do not produce a laundry fabric softener.
  • Frage: Is this a neutral detergent?

    Antworten: Woolite Clean and Care Detergent has a pH range of 7.5 to 8.5.
  • Frage: Can this be used even if you don't use a gentle cycle?

    Antworten: I wouldn’t use Woolite for regular cycles. It’s made for washing 'hand wash' materials such as delicate clothing.
  • Frage: Does this come 2 bottles or one bottle?

    Antworten: This product listing is for one bottle of Woolite with Ever Care Liquid Laundry Detergent of 100 Fl Oz.
  • Frage: If I use this product after the expiration date, will there be any effect?

    Antworten: There are no current US regulatory requirements for cleaning products to have an expiration date on the label. Reckitt has a robust stability protocol, based on internal, industry-standard, US, and international recommendations and guidelines. Our products are designed and tested to ensure that the product remains stable and efficacious over the course of their anticipated distribution and use.
  • Frage: Is this mild enough for down jackets? (The care labels say they can be machine washed, but to use a 'mild detergent')

    Antworten: This is very gentle. I use it for my items that say 'delicate' or 'hand wash' as my machine has a Hand Wash cycle. It also does not fade colors.
  • Frage: Can I actually hand wash with this or must I use in washing machine?

    Antworten: You can hand wash or machine wash with Woolite. I have done both over many years.
