Antworten: It will shine up nicely. Many woodturners use a CA glue as a finish on pens and small turned items. You may have to play to see if this thick gel works better than a medium viscosity for your use. Play a little. BTW. Starbond is a really nice, high quality glue. If you dont need to have it cure quickly dont use an accelerator with it. An accelerator can sometimes introduce small bubbles into the glue that would ruin the finish you are looking for.
Frage: Would this work for reattaching a wire for a removable dental retainer?

Antworten: Absolutely NOT! This stuff is just bad super glue. And by bad, I mean BAD! It sucks.
Frage: Received product with multiple micro applicators. How are the micro applicators attached to the bottle?

Antworten: The micro nozzles slip right over the top of the existing nozzle that is already on the bottle. After you remove the cover, use a pin to punch a hole in the top of the nozzle that comes on the bottle then slip the micro over that.
Frage: Can I use this safely on plastic parts on a koi pond filter? Is it toxic, and does water break it down?

Antworten: I would suggest not using it. It has some nasty chemicals in it. I suggest you find out more before you use this in the Koi pond.
Frage: Can this bond metal to wood?

Antworten: Yes, but that's not a good joint if the object is going to be under weight load or experience twist or movement. The wood/metal CA glue bond can break easily under stress if the metal is not etched or roughened first. Porous surface to smooth non-porous surface bonds are only as strong as the shear strength of the glue itself. CA glues are stiff, brittle. Wood to metal bonds with a flexible adhesive such as silicone caulk are much stronger under load or flexion.
Frage: Will em-2000 bond stone veneer to a membrane pond liner? bonding will be above the pond water line. no fish in the pond.

Antworten: HI...Im not really sure......it may melt the plastic.....this is Super Glue.....call a pet store that sells pond materials..many do.

Antworten: Cyanoacrylate works well with natural or synthetic rubbers/latex. Starbond is Cyanoacrylate. Once cured, Cyanoacrylate is safe. There is no negative reaction from natural latex coming in contact with Cyanoacrylate.
Frage: If it is used in the surface of stained wood, in a very noticeable part would I be able to stain it to match the wood?

Antworten: I dont think it would take a stain. It isn't porous at all when it sets.
Frage: Can I add sawdust and fill gaps between lattice strips and old birch cabinet doors? Trying to make DIY shaker doors.

Antworten: Best to use Med. cure Epoxy, collect some sawdust from the wood you are trying to fill, make a paste, put in in the gap wait till cured 24 hrs, than sand off unneeded portion. Good luck!
