The Cuisinart DCC-1200 carafe uses a number 4 paper filter which can be purchased from any grocery store. The carafe can be used with Cuisinart CB-00PC6 and DCC-2650 coffee makers. The machine may have an electrical problem leading to it not brewing all the water or shutting off while brewing. Cleaning the pot with water and vinegar can remove any mildew taste. The product looks nice but may not pour well, often spilling while pouring. In general, customers are satisfied with their experience with this product. Many customers have replaced their old carafes with this model carafe. However, others have reported some issues with the machine's electrical systems and poor pouring.
