The Oshlun MTDCF-06 6-Inch Stainless Steel Fractional Dial Caliper is a great product for DIY enthusiasts, mechanics, tinkerers and more. The dial has a diameter of 1.5 inches and has fractions printed on the outer circle in 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and so on, with tick marks every 64th. Moreover, the product is very well made and comes with a nice case. The caliper is designed to handle inside, outside, and depth measurements. Users can contact the company directly to request parts. However, some customers found the product to have poor quality and had defects, such as a crooked indicator bar, sharp edges, a weird random plastic piece, and burn marks in the metal. One customer said they upgraded from a plastic one to this caliper but was disappointed and opted for the iGaging model instead. Additionally, the slide was very stiff and had a gritty feel towards the end, according to another customer. Another complaint was that the battery cover kept falling off, and no replacement was available. Finally, a customer said the product was so imprecise that it skipped over so many teeth that the bezel turned almost 90 degrees, making it useless.
