This package contains the means to attach to an Ethernet hub, transmit the signal using the powerline, receive it, and then distribute it to up to 4 devices. The product is compatible with Actiontec's older 85 Mbps product. The adapter has 2 prongs which can be easily inverted for space requirements. In terms of reviews, there are mixed feedback from buyers. Some have found it to work fine and as expected. However, others have found that most of the units purchased stopped working after a few months or so, rendering the system useless. Some buyers also had a hard time getting the connection even between outlets on different circuit breakers.
