It is made in China. It is not suitable for keeping a car hood open on smooth stainless steel strut but works well for small screws that are hard to reach, making it a life saver. Some customers found it to be smaller than expected and listed as incorrect 11.02 x 11.02 x 7.09 inches dimensions.
